Maybe it′s the morning fog, or it could be the weather
Maybe it's the force of time that I'm too dumb to see

Why can′t I comprehend what I will see when I die?
Maybe it's the lack of verity behind religion
Maybe it′s all part of a problem that begins with me

Could it be that I lost hope?
Am I hanging on the last rope?
Would I lay down on a landmine

A wake up call when the telephone rings
Why won't this seasonal mood come to end in the spring?
Maybe it′s a fact of life that we call depression
Only time will tell if life is a necessity

Would you smile if I sing you the blues?
Would you notice if I wrote in some clues?

Look at the time, I′m running out of words
