Crabs Songtext

Crabs Songtext

The young man was crying
That I was long ago
But now the clock has found me on the shore
The gulls are crying for much more
Whale whining reefs have made their mark
Heavenly seraph found their brides
Hermit crabs put out their spark
In the luxury of the tide

And kites fall into my remains
Bear me to my submarine
Depths of oceans rich and green
Fish kiss the place that was my base
Ponder through my head of dreams
Dreams of bliss beneath her lace
Carries home my white sea cocaine
Every fallen rock fireworks
The depths and craters come to turn

Once too often have I run
Out of benevolent sun

It protects me in my shell
Now I hear the rusty bell
Look at the love that was in my eyes
Now the lightest sun is gone
The long lost galleon was surprised
But it has sailed further on
Morning found that I missed a flick
Left me rot without a brick
Heaven has called my name
It is the end of the game

Toast me with your daily rum
In my life′s aquarium
