I′ve known Delta F for some time
And in all those years
I've never met anyone who feels music the way he does
Not as sound, but as emotion, as truth
When he asked me to be part of The Human Chord
I didn′t see it as a project. I saw it as a conversation
Between two friends
Who care deeply about what it means to be human


These poems, and the guitar pieces that follow them
Are small reflections of that, of peace
Love, kindness, and connection
Nothing here is perfect. It wasn't meant to be
It's honest, fragile, and real, the way life should be
So wherever you are, I hope you can slow down for a while
Let the words and the music remind you
That we all share the same heartbeat
The same chord
