Lucid lividity
This hollow life
A monument
For maggots to feed

And as I start rot
A tapestry of colors form
Seeping into the cracks
Of a well-worn tile floor
Gristle, bone and gore
A dying god reborn
Into something worth being
in a world that breaks you down

This lust for decay
