New Heights Songtext

Looking back at year we′ve had Lots of foreign streets and new Mates to meet
Even crossed to our neighbours State
We nearly missed the Show cause we ran it late
I'll say this one more fucking Time
I′m finally set free from all That Bothered me
And was encroaching on my Autonomy
The pandemic left me feeling Pathetic and all I did was Regretting the time overlapping And my weight fluctuating it's No wonder my eyes have Permanent bags

I stare at myself in the mirror
The cracks in my skin start to Clear up

We won't be slaves
To desks and lathes
Take all you want in taxes and Leave me to raise my clenched Closed hand
I find I still appreciate the Different stages of this state

I stare at myself in the mirror
The cracks in my skin start to Clear up

The confluence of trauma lives Here
With new pages of stories Written
Can I borrow a feeling of shame
Because I don′t see a bad point I′ve made

I can't make sense of pretence to False masquerade
As a false idol Of this harsh setting I need to Regain
All that I find grounds Me
The unknown circles my Head
Instead I find my blissful solace In revoking my care for this Ending
