I Get High Songtext
von Dead Obies

[Intro: Matthew McConaughey & (Denzel Washington)
You were born somewhere around East Texas, right?
Yeah
And now you wake up every morning and you hate it
You just hate it
You get on down there and you put on your white uniform
I hate it
So you go on home and you sit in your room and you think
Now when and how am I ever going to get away from this?

My business model, pimp hard in my Silverado
I don′t write bars, couple white bars
Got me feeling like Desperado
Yeah I'm a despot vado
Yellow Cadillac Eldorado
Took a trip down yellow brick road
′84 Monte Carlo
Don't touch my bottles
Skinny motherfucker with a drinking problem
Triple z'd up
Keep my feet up
Sierra truck, mean mug with a clean cut
Therefore I could never be a role model
Six hoes in the middle of a gold tile
I don′t know about you
But me, myself and I

I get high
Nothing I can do
Cocoon in my pocket
What am I supposed to do when I get high
Nothing I can do
Roll another doobie homie
Nothing I can do
Cocoon in my pocket
What am I supposed to do when I get high
Nothing I can do
Roll another doobie homie

I′m so high dans le benzo
No lie, oh my
God, it's only right so turn left
Burn it, more fire
French frog and I′m smoking
Explosives
And I don't give an F
L tower, boy m′en calisse
J'ai bien des rêves endormis
Juste des stoners around me
So j′rêve jamais la nuit
I need to get
Le weed endort mon people
On vit, on meurt, on prie juste pour un big amount of weed
I need to get

Before my summer's gone
I'mma get high
And before my summer′s gone
I′mma get high
And before my summer's gone
I′mma get high
Before my summer's gone
I′mma get high
And before my summer's gone
I′mma get high
And before my summer's gone

I get high
Nothing I can do
Cocoon in my pocket
What am I supposed to do when I get high
Nothing I can do
Roll another doobie homie
Nothing I can do
Cocoon in my pocket
What am I supposed to do when I get high
Nothing I can do
Roll another doobie homie
