Rainbow Butterfly Songtext
von David Gibb

Come in, don′t be shy
Haven't you ever met a talking butterfly?
I′m pretty special, in fact I'm unique
You'll soon see I do more than just speak
Take a closer look at my wings
You′ll see they′re no ordinary things
I like to stand out in the summer sunshine

I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings
I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings

Who'd choose to be black or brown
When there′s an infinite number of colours around?
As I was resting deep in my cocoon
I came up with a thousand different shades of maroon
Take a closer look at my wings
You'll see they′re no ordinary things
I like to stand out in the summer sunshine

I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings
I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings
I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings
I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings

Come in, don't be shy
Haven′t you ever met a talking butterfly?
I'm pretty special, in fact I'm unique, yeah
You′ll soon see I do more than just speak
Take a closer look at my wings
You′ll see they're no ordinary things
I like to stand out in the summer sunshine

I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings
I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings
You know it′s true, I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings
I got the colours of the rainbow on my wings
