Four-fold of light upon the lashes
Fallen ashes of your kindred spirit
Stand heavy heart-stone scarab
In reflection below the great floor

In the pallor of Par
Familiar spirits are
Clothed in purple covering cherub

Starry thrones, seated stones
Unconquered one
In your shining outshone

Dragon thou shalt
Rise, hidden lion
In the sightless eyes
Earth-born Orion


At the hums of the moon
Philo-Sophia
Hear the dead come back so soon

Snake stricken the muse
Striding solar calf Tammuz
Wrong hanging Bela Shiva
Jangling lesser keys

All noble liars, a mountain of curses
Orphic the pool, the pool inside her
Oracle rise and rightly divide
Laughing flames sing its verses

Unconquered one
You of starry bone
