Candy Cane Twist Songtext
von Dave Rudolf

Oh, dancing through the season
Oh, it′s on my Christmas list
Oh, to do the Candy Cane Twist

It's a time of joy, it′s a time of cheer
It's a very merry, it's a time of the year
It starts your feet a-tappin′ when you feel that glow
When you start to twist underneath the mistletoe

Oh, dancing through the season
Oh, it′s on my Christmas list
Oh, to do the Candy Cane Twist

Santa's caught the spirit of the yuletide joy
He′s twistin' down the chimney, deliverin′ his toys
The New Year baby, and old Father Time
Are twistin' in the New Year′s twelve o'clock chime

Oh, dancing through the season
Oh, it's on my Christmas list
Oh, to do the Candy Cane Twist

Twistin′ like a candy cane, it′s as sweet as can be
Twistin' like a candy cane, dancin′ all around the tree

Oh, dancing through the season
Oh, it's on my Christmas list
Oh, to do the Candy Cane Twist
Oh, dancing through the season
Oh, it′s on my Christmas list
Oh, to do the Candy Cane Twist

It's a winter party, hear the happy sounds
With the music of the season, dancin′ all around
Grab yourself a partner, share a Christmas kiss
When she's in your arms, then you can start to twist

Oh, dancing through the season
Oh, it's on my Christmas list
Oh, to do the Candy Cane Twist
You know it′s sweet as candy
Oh, dancing through the season
Oh, it′s on my Christmas list
Oh, to do the Candy Cane Twist
