We were young against the wall
Didn′t even know what we were fighting for
2 AM on a train
Leaning on the rhythm of the driving rain
And running to a moment in a place that you've never been
And wager all your money hoping this time you might win

Left our friends far behind
Didn′t want to take the time to say goodbye
In our heart though we tried
They would never understand the reason why
And holding back the tears you feel you should not cry
And hoping that this dream will take you to a better life

Wondering if comfort lies anywhere
