I'm tripping over all the mess that I've made
I'm done with the politics and feeling sick from being this afraid

Something is working against me
Working to disconnect me, stopped me in my tracks
But I've been running this road for too long now to turn back

I'll face my demons, I can't see them but I feel them all surrounding me
This is just the beginning, I've been thinking my decisions could easily be all that I need

My only weakness is wearing all my secrets on my sleeves
But I'd rather be a warrior with a heart than a prisoner of greed

Now I've been loading all the weight on to my shoulders
and as I'm getting older, I can I feel it pulling me down
And I've got every intention of figuring this out, somehow
