Well she called me up on the telephone,
Upset, cuz she was feelin' like she was alone,
I told her don't worry, it's only today,

Also I told her

Hate you,
But there's no reason for loneliness cuz there's always someone that you can
Relate to,
It's not always easy,
It's hard to believe me
When I say that it will go away,
Shit ain't gonna last,
It'll fade to the past,
Look to the future, a new day.


Well he left a message,
Cuz I couldn't get to the phone in time,
He said that he'd done something wrong,
He couldn't move on,
He couldn't put it out of his mind.

Well here's what I told him.

Well one day I asked myself,
If I could take my own advice,
I thought well, now since I was down,
Maybe I'd come around,
If I wrote somethin' out that sounded nice.

Well I did, and here's what I came to.
