Avoid the Dawn Songtext
von Danon Hill

once again we aim for overdoing
as if we ever didn′t make it happen
our common friend tightened a bond, couldn't break it
whether a dunning night or blinding daylight

our time has come when shadows start expanding
enjoying shelter from the darkening ceiling
along with daylight slowly fades discernment
to open up a world of free falling

a tale to be told indeed
but none of them arise for free

I hope you knew
I told the story in reverse
that once I flew
avoid the dawn, just like I do
now pass it on
inhale, let burn, get paralyzed
deceit, you see
avoid the dawn, trust me

we raise dust, the cause of blurry vision
a vital starting game of seek and hiding
couldn′t catch the toxic wedge when cutting
and the following split appeared unseen

a tale to be told indeed
but none of them arise for free

I hope you knew
I told the story in reverse
that once I flew
avoid the dawn, just like I do
now pass it on
inhale, let burn, get paralyzed
deceit, you see
avoid the dawn, trust me

I hope you knew
I told the story in reverse
that once I flew
avoid the dawn, just like I do
now pass it on
inhale, let burn, get paralyzed
deceit, you see
avoid the dawn, trust me
I hope you knew
I told the story in reverse
that once I flew
avoid the dawn, just like I do
now pass it on
inhale, let burn, get paralyzed
deceit, you see
avoid the dawn, trust me
