Shooting Star Songtext
von Dana Heath

Everyone checking for me
I′m flattered, I'm very amused
I know I′m a sight to see
They trying but getting excused
On stages they want me on poles
But I'm not labeled by roles
Tonight I come stepping on toes
Tonight yes, I'm making a toast
Here′s to me and myself
Got wealth and good health
Here′s to ones that win by they self
By they self, oh oh
Know they wish they could see me
Check the sky, I'm too high now
Call my phone, they can′t reach me
I see you when I see ya

Ready, set, go
Lights, camera, action, tape me now
They show me love and scream my name out loud
Tryna holler, wanna date me now
This my movie, starring me, I wanna take a bow

Wish, have you ever wished upon a shooting star
Baby, I'm a star
It′s ticking, it's tocking, and your time is passing
And you bout to miss out on wishing this star
Star

Going far tonight
Passing the stars, take flight
Going past any satellite
I know I′m fire, I ignite
Covos, I spark it
Got everybody talking
I'mma do me regardless
I leave 'em total darkness
Every time I go
They begging me come down now
I know it get cold
When I don′t come shine down

Ready, set, go
Lights, camera, action, tape me now
They show me love and scream my name out loud
Tryna holler, wanna date me now
This my movie, starring me, I wanna take a bow

Wish, have you ever wished upon a shooting star
Baby, I′m a star
It's ticking, it′s tocking, and your time is passing
And you bout to miss out on wishing this star
Star

Wish upon my shooting star
Shooting star
Baby come here and wish upon my shooting star
Come on, wish upon my shooting
Wish upon my
Wish upon my shooting star)
