Out of my cocoon

Ready to swoon
You wrapped me in a cocoon
Then left me feeling blue

What if I was not in one place but two?
What if there was a part of me that left with you?
Two birds and two minds, your choices aren′t mine
When the sun rises they'll know exactly what to do


Underneath the pink sky the two birds flew
They always flew together but one began to feel blue
Blue bird felt so heavy flapping against air
The other bird felt hungry for all things new
But blue bird was heavy with despair

What if I was not in one place but two?
What if there was a part of me that left with you?
Two birds and two minds, your choices aren′t mine
When the sun rises they'll know exactly what to do

When it takes over there's not one bird but two
When it takes over the path becomes unclear
Is it something to apologise for? Something to work through?
When it takes over I′m not sure what part of me is still here
