Disappointed Blues Songtext
von Cuby + Blizzards

Yeah, you promised to be my woman
But it turned out so wrong
You promised to be my woman
But it turned out so wrong
You went back to your mother
Straight back where you belong

I received your letter this morning
It read you wanted me no more
I received your letter this morning
It read you wanted me no more
Yeah, it disappoints me so
′Cause you weren't right, and that′s for sure

I received your letter this morning
It read you wanted me no more
I received your letter this morning
It read you wanted me no more
You know it disappoints me so
'Cause you weren't right, and that′s for sure

Now a good woman is hard to find
And I wondered a thousand times
Yeah, a good woman is hard to find
And I wondered a thousand times
Lonely in my bedroom
′Cause I wish that you were mine
