New Wings Songtext
von Crows-An-Wra

Before the first arrow whistled from a bow
Wingless they lay on their backs desolate fields

They lay there dreaming of distant lands
Their thoughts obscured by a thousand weaving bloodlines
The pillars of thought dancing as they seek the middle way
Dancing as we seek the middle way
I see beyond the districts and the suburbs
Over the fields and oceans

I see you through the embers
These birds sore with energy
Like the smoke billowing minarets of failed glories
They bore them a full furlong though the sky
Hundreds if not thousands died
In vain trying to get a little closer to Heaven
Closer to Heaven

New wings are needed for the flighty youth
New wings are needed for the flighty youth
Seeking new wonders as we explore the unseen
New wings for the flighty youth
Seeking new pleasures as we explore the everyday
New wings, new wings, new wings, new wings

And I suspect that life is everywhere
I suspect that life is everywhere
Everywhere

I see beyond the horizon
I see beyond the horizon
The horizon and the prospect
Off the causeway, over the forest and desserts
And I suspect

And I suspect that life is everywhere
I see beyond the districts and the suburbs
Off the highway, over the fields and oceans
And I suspect that life is everywhere
That life is everywhere
Life is everywhere
