Plight Songtext
von Crooked Teeth

You′ve got a sweet tooth for your next mistake
A silver spoon and a well placed vein
You've got a backpack′s worth of hurt and shame
Just can't deal anymore

Take those dreams and soar
You've got a goddamn smile that could light the world
Left your heart laying on the floor
Just to feel something more

You know that when it rains, it pours
Had you knocked down, beat up, mad at the world?
Left your heart laying on the floor
Just to feel something more

Swore this time would be your last mistake
A little bit more couldn′t numb the pain
Sick to my stomach when I saw your name
You′re not here anymore

Take those dreams and soar
You've got a goddamn smile that could light the world
Left your heart laying on the floor
Just to feel something more

You know that when it rains, it pours
Had you knocked down, beat up, mad at world?
Left your heart laying on the floor
Just to feel something more

You heard the plight inside my subtle cry
You heard the plight inside my subtle cry

Take those dreams and soar
You′ve got a goddamn smile that could light the world
Left your heart laying on the floor
Just to feel something more

You know that when it rains, it pours
Had you knocked down, beat up, mad at the world?
Left your heart laying on the floor
Just to feel something more
