in a recurrent dream
i dive deep down
into a warm and shining blue
the waters surround me
and the brawly surface slowly fades

the deeper, the darker
the pressure increases

as always i run scared
without a chance to breathe
no hope to awake
in dread of suffocation
my lungs begin to cramp


something drags me under
and i let loose the doubts
there′s nothing to latch onto
nothing to understand

detached from the world
this surreal cognition feels so real
intimate with this ambient blue
i take a deep breath
like the times before
and fill my lungs

inhale – no drowning
exhale – no dying

spell bound by this experience, i drift
ahead of time i must awake
and breast the waves again
