Declaration Songtext
von Counterfist

Your voice, my favorite sound
All choice, I may never live down
They′re shrouding their faces with their hands
A subtle restraining by design
How am I expected to come so much farther out?

Oh, they declare both sides
Away, I'm declaring my side

One push, then another
One view hides the other
All sides come together
Hold it up, hold it in

With a hand raised
Standing their ground
Come a cold chain
Pouring down from their mouths
These boundaries designed to leave a space
A subtle device to merge me out
And still I′m expected to come so much farther out

Oh, they declare both sides
Away, I'm declaring my side

Now you're found
Safe, so they say
Come around
Come away
Hold it out
Never mind your own way

They declare both sides
Away, I′m declaring my side
