Pick It Up Songtext
von Completely Insane

Look around to see that they don′t care, it's so sad to find that it′s so rare
Always take but never give, is that the way you want to live?
Or do you think it's overrated? You wouldn't if you′ve contemplated
An open heart and honestly, it′s just that greed that gets to me

"So why? You're always trying to get ahead", "Never look back" That′s what you said
Forgot the world's a better place when it′s more than a rat race
A simple song for what it's worth, no greater lesson found on Earth
Greed makes all of us corrupt, let′s change it back! Let's pick it up!

Like tunnel vision once we get too far, sometimes we forget just who we are
Simply blinded by your goal, what ever happened to your pure soul?
You look around and you can't bare, so you turn around ′cause life just seems unfair
You give, you get, you get, you give, pick up the beat of the life you live

"So why? You′re always trying to get ahead", "Never look back" That's what you said
Forgot the world′s a better place when it's more than a rat race
A simple song for what it′s worth, no greater lesson found on Earth
Greed makes all of us corrupt, let's change it back! Let′s pick it up!

"So why? You're always trying to get ahead", "Never look back" That's what you said
Forgot the world′s a better place when it′s more than a rat race
A simple song for what it's worth, no greater lesson found on Earth
Greed makes all of us corrupt, let′s change it back! Let's pick it up!
