Something happened late last night
Everything was over just before daylight
Things that I wondered if I′d ever live to see
Now Jesus stood beside me
He was showing them to me

As He stood there with me
We looked across the land
Everything was burned up
That had been made by man
There was only silence
No life here could be found
As we looked across the ashes
That lay all across the ground

Last night the world came to an end
Oh what a dreadful sight my friend
The entire human race was gone
Their fate had now been sealed
And every single word of Holy Scripture was fulfilled


Then I saw a sign in Heaven
That made my heart so glad
I knew that I was going home
I'd never more be sad
Broken hearts and tear dimmed eyes
Never more would be
Only joy and happiness
Are waiting there for me

I never saw the Lord′s dear face
But He spoke these words to me
"There's only two remaining
Till these things you've seen will be"

When I awoke such happiness
And joy I could not hide
For I′d been into the future
With Jesus at my side
