To sink in this womb
Tainted it with blight
Denying the cure

Blind to the crimes
Of rotten minds
And deaf to the prayers
That fill the sky

We′re left behind
Just look above
And I see there's nothing
But an empty throne


So many little hands
So many little hearts
Robbed of their innocence
And torn apart

Too many fragile things
Left here shattered
Loosing their hope
You let them suffer

I know it′s beyond my comprehension
It must be for the sake of redemption
But why leave us all alone?
Oh tell me, where have you gone?


Cursed with free will and consciousness
And left here to drown in our own mess
But please do forgive my insolence
When I question your competence
Cursed with reason and consciousness
And the little ones have to face the consequence?
Losing our breath deep in this mess
But the worst thing we lose is innocence

And if there is a place heaven can be
It is nowhere else other than here
