Where do you see yourself in 900 years?
Dancing in between metallic spheres?
Takes all your energy to picture times
That haven′t happened yet within our lives

Past all the sleeplessness you've grown to love
A time not so fragile and not so tough
Fog lights can blind then get shrugged off
Noises in the next room won′t keep you up


Connections made
They will flow both ways
You missed this day
But I want you to stay

You'll call yourself the congratulator
And say you're going to try and persuade her
To break away from the shadows and damp walls
And leave this here for someone else to follow
The fever will stick and cause you to tremble
Just long enough to focus your end goal
It comes too fast for you even to bother
You take her hand and find the water
