I am her caretaker
It wasn′t my plan
There was no one for her
She fell in my hands

She was attracted by me
The sound of my voice
She had nobody
This was not by my choice


There are things in life that are chosen for us
No matter what we do
Some walk with us and some just ignore us
It's as if somehow God knew

She was in need of someone
She never could work
There was love inside me
Though I never loved her
