Tender Hurricane Songtext
von Claus Hempler

I′d come to save you anytime you want
stay till after closing time
be there when you want me off your back
be there when you change your mind

Anywhere you take me, it's okay
drop me off or drive away
on a downbound train
all I wanna do is fill your bed
clear the traffic in my head
stand inside your rain,
your tender hurricane.

I love you like a featherlight caress
love you like dissolving sleep
love you like a castaway who thinks
the sea is only inches deep

Anywhere you take me, it′s okay
drop me off or drive away
on a downbound train
all I wanna do is fill your bed
clear the traffic in my head
stand inside your rain,
your tender hurricane.

Let the case files get lost
let the crowds bear your cross
the wind chimes jangle
the stray dogs ramble.

Take me to place off the map
take me where the water flows
where pain is just a candle you put out
and fear is just a door you close.

Anywhere you take me, it's okay
drop me off or drive away
on a downbound train
all I wanna do is fill your bed
clear the traffic in my head
stand inside your rain,
your tender hurricane.
