Body Songtext

Body Songtext

I don′t feel at home in my body
It's not like I′d rather be somebody else
Bodies behave and mine's like a cage
I'm living inside it, I′m somebody else

I don′t feel like me in my body
And I don't feel tethered to this anchoring point
You think it′s a joke, but I've still got hope
That someday I′ll have a body that I enjoy

People are saying that everything's changing
I really hope there′s a change in me
'Cause people are seeing a new way of being
And I hope that one day I will be at ease finally

So I've been praying to blank walls
And hiding in bathroom stalls ′cause of my body
I′m so sorry
And I wish I was thankful
I wish I felt beautiful in my body
I'm so sorry
And although I′m doubtful
If there's a god then she don′t have no body
She don't have a body
She don′t have a body

I just wanna feel love for my body

People are saying that everything's changing
I really hope there's a change in me
′Cause people are seeing a new way of being
And I hope that one day I will be at ease finally
