You Are Not Behind Songtext
von Chubb+Bits

You′re comparing your chapter three
To someone else's final page
You′re measuring your pace against
A race you never entered in the first place

Put down the scoreboard, love
There's no clock running out on you

You are not behind
You're right on time for your particular life
You are not behind
The story you′re in doesn′t follow their design
Every step you've taken counts
Every detour, every doubt
You are exactly where you need to be
You are not behind

You thought by now you′d have it figured out
You thought by now you'd know without a doubt
But life keeps adding chapters you didn′t write
And somehow you keep showing up to fight

Put down the calendar, love
There's no expiration date on you

You are not behind
You′re right on time for your particular life
You are not behind
The story you're in doesn't follow their design
Every step you′ve taken counts
Every detour, every doubt
You are exactly where you need to be
You are not behind

Give yourself the grace you give to everyone you love
You′ve earned it more than any of the ones above
You're further than you think
You′re braver than you know
You're already everything you′re trying hard to show

You are not behind
Right on time
Right on time
