Remember When We Were Young Songtext
von Chubb+Bits

We had no money but we had the evenings
We had no plans but we had all the time
We found the beauty in the barely nothing
And everything we touched felt somehow fine

We didn′t know that we were in the golden
We thought the gold was somewhere still ahead
But looking back the gold was in the simple
The ordinary things we did instead

Remember when we were young
Remember when everything was possible
Remember when we were young
And all of it felt optional
We could stay out till the sun came up
We could change our minds at any turn
Remember when we were young
And love was all we had to learn

Old photographs from someone's birthday party
The clothes embarrassing, the smiles so wide
And everyone looks younger than I remember
And everyone I love is still inside

We′re not so old now either
We've got good years ahead
But some nights it's good to visit
The youth we still carry in our heads

Remember when we were young
Remember it all
Remember
