Our Greatest Gift Songtext
von Chubb+Bits

A little line on a plastic stick
My heart started beating so fast and so quick
A secret we′re keeping, a dream coming true
Everything's changing because of you
Smallest of shoes and a room painted white
Thinking about you in the middle of the night
We haven′t met yet, but I know your soul
You're the missing piece that makes us whole

Oh, you're our greatest gift, a miracle light
Turning the gray into something so bright
Two became three in a moment of grace
I can′t wait to finally see your face
Yeah, you′re our greatest gift, a love so new
The world is waiting to say hello to you
From the very first kick to the day you arrive
You're the reason our hearts feel so alive

The nursery is ready, the books are all set
The most beautiful story that hasn′t been yet
I promise to guide you and hold your hand
Through all of the wonders across the land
Hearing your heartbeat, a rhythmic sound
The most sacred treasure that we ever found
No matter the journey, no matter the way
We're counting the hours, we′re counting the days

Tiny hands
Tiny feet
Making our family
Finally complete

Oh, you're our greatest gift, a miracle light
Turning the gray into something so bright
Two became three in a moment of grace
I can′t wait to finally see your face
Yeah, you're our greatest gift, a love so new
The world is waiting to say hello to you
From the very first kick to the day you arrive
You're the reason our hearts feel so alive

See you soon, little one
Our greatest gift
Love at first sight
