All they want is to feel powerful and have a grand or two in cash

The New Zealand music industry′s just Wattie's selling songs
If they've got exclusive rights then they don′t care about the wrongs
A snort of coke in L.A. with the parent company
Makes a little boy quite happy in the music industry

The New Zealand music industry gets its product overseas
'Cause it can′t believe in quality till it gets U.S. release
And its well-trained radio stations pump out what it wants to hear
The musical equivalent of epidemic diarrhoea
