Standin′ down, movin' on
Judgement at his hand, he waits
Come to pass, hourglass
But his mind is lost in space

You can see the soul he severed
Laid upon the face
Of the lovely bones
All the ones he laid in place

Is the time for the climb
Down the shadowy staircase
Phased and fine, intertwined
Lay the lines upon her face

You can see the soul she severed
Waitin′ for his grace

She the one who paid in pain


She hath suffered
And her tears are held in place
By the broken ones
Left to roam in the haze

Long gone is the time
She looked to better days
What's been and done
Now she'll be forever changed

Stands alone now he′s gone

Wrong or right, candlelight
All the best is laid to taste
