A moment of clarity came to a man who was lost in his head
Lost in time or lost in his mind instead
The clarity of seeing things for what they truly are
Is peaceful in a sense
And what the future holds
Stands before him as evidence
The truth was evident
Lies of the past became irrelevant
Almost if somehow, it was heaven sent
This illness has left his mind, body and soul
No longer controlled by past indiscretions
Looking through the looking glass
But appreciating the present
His mind is free and in-flight Nothing is wrong, and
Everything′s right
Content and in serenity
Feeling somehow connected
No longer ruled by assumptions that kept
His mind concealed and conflicted
He is compelled to tell the world
But realizes they will not understand
That he has transformed into a Renaissance man
His new found intelligence and wisdom now is so profound
Is quiet and loud, all at the same time
Clarity possessed and now is his own
Next mission and task is to find his new home
