Small Town Texas Songtext
von Cameron James Smith

Why drive a hundred miles for a hundred dollar steak
When we got Kingsford and Weber and a good old IGA
It′s just loud and crowded down at that fancy club
Man, the drinks are so much cooler from the cooler in my truck

I'm just fine right here in my backyard
We got bales of hay for days and acres full of stars
Bonfires, marshmallows, a pretty girl for every fella
Making big city boys so jealous, of small town Texas

You can′t find a place to park and spark inside those city limits
You gotta get out where the air is clear to catch fireflies and kisses
The moon at night's so big and bright, don't need no neon lights
Just one tailgate away from the time of your life

I′m just fine right here in my backyard
We got bales of hay for days and acres full of stars
Bonfires, marshmallows, a pretty girl for every fella
Making big city boys so jealous, of small town Texas

We may not be a big city, but we love it
And I don′t plan to leave it till the day I kick the bucket

I'm just fine right here in my backyard
We got bales of hay for days and acres full of stars
Bonfires, marshmallows, a pretty girl for every fella
Making big city boys so jealous, of small town Texas

Small town Texas
Yeah, small town Texas
Small town Texas
Small town Texas
