Leona Songtext
Enamored in a moment
That took my breath away
In the middle
Of an otherwise busy day
When punctured, my finger
By the thorn of a rose
The haste of my stride
Was suddenly froze
Bittersweetly my pondering
Brought a tear to my eyes
As a tiny sphere of crimson
Slowly made its rise
Whimsical, romantic
Poetry was stirred
The beauty, the pain
This thought to me occurred
Pleasing of a life to see
She can be dangerous to touch
How can something so beautiful
Ever hurt so much?
That took my breath away
In the middle
Of an otherwise busy day
When punctured, my finger
By the thorn of a rose
The haste of my stride
Was suddenly froze
Bittersweetly my pondering
Brought a tear to my eyes
As a tiny sphere of crimson
Slowly made its rise
Whimsical, romantic
Poetry was stirred
The beauty, the pain
This thought to me occurred
Pleasing of a life to see
She can be dangerous to touch
How can something so beautiful
Ever hurt so much?
