Appalachian Blood Bourbon Songtext
von Buzzard

An ancient clan of mean Hungarian vampires
Settles down under a holler in Kentucky
With a crazy dream and a business plan

Converting a moldy crypt into a stillhouse
The drunk undead Floyd and Fred
Blend the blood of a Tennessee stud with bathtub gin

Baby ghouls nurse fermented goat′s blood
With a whiskey barrel Count Daryll
Stalks the cops in the parking lot of a donut shop
In a coyote skin

They're stirrin′ up trouble
In the old copper kettle
The blood of the squirrel and the possum flows
In the veins of the brood on a lonesome road
From the Blue Hill Ridge up north to Ohio

In bunkers beneath an abandoned Cleveland stockyard
The ladies and lords of the executive board
Toast the host in a sharkskin cloak
Chairman Cletus with his teeth of solid gold

The distillery doubles
Doing deals with the devil
Stirrin' up trouble
In the old copper kettle
The blood of the whore and the junkie flows
In the bottles on the shelves of the CFOs
From Chicago to Tokyo
