The flames of stars and their demise
In eyes more ancient than all of time
And thoughts and dreams alike
Like all the nights before ended once more
As I wonder
Waking once more, a newborn star
And the weight of whole worlds and wonders
Only to fade again
Do we rise to form once more
Light, weave on our memories
As to tell all our tales anew
A sudden burst of emotion
What would I give to hold you
In the severing sundown
And to talk of dreams that cannot end


As nothing can truly end

The oceans have seen what I have seen
Anew the circle of light and sound
Anew the watcher waits for its end
Watching the time descend
Back to where we came
