He′s at the station at 5:00 AM
Before he sits down a call comes in
A woman's crying ′cause something's wrong
Says, "It sure would help to hear that song
I don't know what it′s called or who it is
But I need to hear about the hope it gives."
So he plays the one that she wants to hear
And he knows the comfort is coming through loud and clear

God′s still moving in mysterious ways
He's telling all the world that Jesus saves
On the air twenty-four hours a day
′Cause the voice of God still has a lot to say
Reaching out to you and me
On WGOD


He sure loves the work he does
It ain't the money but the lives he′s touched
From a little room in the heart of town
Playing songs for the lost and found
He's letting them know that someone cares
Sometimes a song is an answered prayer
He never knows who, he never knows when
Just like that another call comes in
