On tour at a show in Anaheim
Gotta catch some waves with a friend of mine
Rolled out the next morning and hit the surf shop
Grab a rental board hundred bucks a pop
We dropped in on the locals and pissed off the crew
But that′s what it's like surfing Malibu
Got worked real hard on my last ride
And my board hit the rocks on the inside
Rolled back to the shop to settle up
That dude at the counter said you′re outta luck
The ding on the rail cost forty bills and
With a shitty eatin' grin he wouldn't make no deals

Three months later I was still on the road and
I haven′t surfed so long I was gonna explode
We had another show at the Whisky in LA and
My homie said the waves were pumpin' that day
He grabbed me and we sped up the PCH and
We didn′t stop 'till we hit the closest beach
I got no board ′cuz I'm livin′ in a van
So we only had one option for our plan
Burned once with no other option
Cruised right back to the same shop
Looked at the board said"what the hell?
You put duct tape on the ding on the rail!"
