I met a girl in the Bahamas
Couldn′t catch her name through her accent
So I just called her Lacey
Cuz she sold my friend some janky-ass shoes

She wore dark sunglasses
And a jogger's stopwatch on her left wrist
I told her I′m in a pop band
And she don't give a shit

I guess i'm singing alone

I followed her back to a Starbucks
I can′t believe it′s in a place like this
Did my wizard impression
It got a laugh so I sang her a surefire hit

That′s me in the spotlight
Losing my religion"
She left me singing alone


And what happened
I thought that all bands were dope
But in the Bahamas
They don't

I guess I′m singing alone

I stormed my way back through the shipyard
Picked up some pot from a ten year-old kid
Didn't get to smoke my friends out though
Cuz a sea cop caught me with it

Now I′m stuck in a jail cell
Tryna tell them I'm famous
I'm the bassist of the Miracals
They think I′m Daniel Radcliff

And what happened
I thought that all bands were dope
