My Hometown Songtext
von Brian Grilli

Here I am
Sittin′ in the place it all began
This new hotel
Is right where me and Jenny first fell

So many memories of the past
I wanna slow it down, cause life is flying by fast

This is my hometown
Though it changes every time I come around
Familiar sights and sounds, is where I laid my roots down
This is my hometown

In my time
Biggest store was a corner five and dime
Traffic lights
Replace the stars that used to light the night

Driving around my emotions run wild
The man I am today feels like that little child

This is my hometown
Though it changes every time I come around
Familiar sights and sounds, is where I laid roots down
This is my home

I learned everything I know about who I am now
Here in my hometown
Doesn't matter where I go
A piece of me stays right here in my hometown
My hometown

This is my hometown
Though it changes every time I come around
Familiar sights and sounds, it′s where I laid my roots down
It's where my heart can be found

This is my hometown
