Noticeably absent, just hoping for something to go wrong
There′s people outside the window in the rain, stringing themselves along
I'll grow when it′s convenient, but it's all become too much the same
Staring at the same expression for so long is enough to drive the scenery insane

My thoughts, though erosive, are a companion nonetheless
Aching for a minute, not been trying my best
Scraping for a moment when there's so much noise that my only useful thoughts start to Fizzle to the top


But it starts to seem as if the leaves start to turn
These colors fade without a single concern
Feels obsolete, maybe my ′scenery′ makes it seem that way

But why do I spend all my time just aching for the stairs to burn
As the years start to wilt
As it grows out of hand
