Just Getting Started Songtext
von Brandon Stansell

Staring at this picture frame
You and I on our first date
Young and growing out our hair
Yours was messy, mine was parted
We were just getting started

Spent a week in Myrtle Beach
Going crazy in the summer heat
I watched you singing in the park
We fell in love under the stars
We were just getting started

We were just getting started
Both of us open-hearted
We were making waves
Making our way through love uncharted
And we were just getting started

Empty walls and open spaces
A different town, different faces
But we′ll settle in just fine
All good things they come in time
We were just getting started

Raise a glass in our new home
Here's to the end of never eating or sleeping alone
Unpack the vinyl from their cardboard boxes
We were just getting started

We were just getting started
Both of us open-hearted
Yeah, we were making waves
Making our way through love uncharted
And we were just getting started

With a fresh pot of coffee
That′s when you caught me off guard
Said it's not me you wanted
Then you started walking
After all of our talking about
Seeing the rest of our lives on the horizon

We were just getting started
Now both of us are broken-hearted
We were making waves
Making our way through love uncharted
Yeah, we were just getting started
Both of us open-hearted
Yeah, we were making waves
Making our way through love uncharted
We were just getting started
