I′m alive for the day you come to put to rest this instability
And when I'm not dressed in black and
Mourning things that I think should happen
I have a photograph I look at it and close my eyes to say I was there and alive, you may leave but this won′t ever go
I thought I'd be with you now but
Maybe we've still got some work to do
I should learn to be less like the person I′ve turned into over time


You′re thought of daily and in high regard up on a pedestal
Mistaken for someone that I can't see myself beside
And I′ve made a fool of myself for too long
And you need to know who I think I am

I hear a wedding bell, it sounds so real like I'm still in a dream
And then you wake me up, it turns out that it′s all inside my head
The burning photograph, it turns to ash while we both disappear
The bells are ringing out, becoming more so distant every day
