Backwoods Songtext
von Bourbon Sons

I don′t need that Maybach
You got posted on your TikTok
I don't need top shelf or limousines

And I ain′t in a hurry
No modern, high class worries
Cause I got everything I'll ever need

I'm going to the backwoods
You can find me wastin′ my time
Castin′ lines in the warm sunshine
Thinkin' bout all the fine things in my life

Way out in the backwoods
Wandering down that old dusty road
That′s got signs with bullet holes
We grew up on so long ago

I'm going to the backwoods
Oh the backwoods

You won′t find me on Fifth Avenue
The ol' beat up boots I got′ll do
And I don't need no fancy wine or dine

And I ain't one for flexin′
About movin′ to Austin, Texas
I'm headed for the hills in Caroline

I′m going to the backwoods
You can find me wastin' my time
Castin′ lines in the warm sunshine
Thinkin' bout all the fine things in my life

Way out in the backwoods
Wandering down that old dusty road
That′s got signs with bullet holes
We grew up on so long ago

I'm going to the backwoods
Oh the backwoods

I'm going to the backwoods
Tradin′ in those city lights
For a slice of paradise
And the stars shining in your eyes

Way out in the backwoods
Wandering down that old dusty road
That′s got signs with bullet holes
We grew up on so long ago

I'm going to the backwoods
You can find me wastin′ my time
Castin' lines in the warm sunshine
Thinkin′ bout all the fine things in my life

Way out in the backwoods
Wandering down that old dusty road
That's got signs with bullet holes
We grew up on so long ago

I′m going to the backwoods
I'm going to the backwoods
I'm going to the backwoods
Oh the backwoods
