A Winter Tale Songtext

A Winter Tale Songtext

A pillar brought it back to winter tale
So spare the clothes around my neck
My winds against the sail
I′m shivering up a storm of roadside pines
Off the shreds of ballast cold
That shows the olden times

A bone and sorrow thrown into the day
Into the barrels of the sun
I turned and found a way
The naked branches cut the empty air
The river birds have fled away
From all their wear and tear
From all their wear and tear

The carpet surface hugs the bulk but keeps in the sky
A childhood glimpse that keeps you warm but hangs you to dry
A shameful dream, a shameful fate, so pulls on your heart
The brittle winds will keep the dawn from you at the start

So pray a mere cross to ease me on my way
So pray a mere screams of organs for the day
So pray a mere cross to broaden on the gale
So pray a mere screams of organs and wail
A winter tale

I heard a lonely voice cut through the rain
So take away my conscious mind
And take away my pain
To embrace the day to cut through my only soul
I staunch my love of all its parts
To the blackness of burn coal
To the blackness of burn coal

The carpet surface hugs the bulk but keeps in the sky
A childhood glimpse that keeps you warm but hangs you to dry
A shameful dream, a shameful fate, so pulls on your heart
The brittle winds will keep the dawn from you at the start

So pray a mere cross to ease me on my way
So pray a mere screams of organs for the day
So pray a mere cross to broaden on the gale
So pray a mere screams of organs and wail
A winter tale
