Crickets Songtext

Anxious light years ahead of me
Screaming directions like it could be so easy
Live, have a bank account with cluttered dreams
Stapled two weeks notice with just in case I blink

Will they remember me?
Crickets are the crowd I see
A pit stop in the memories
Playing a song they′ll never notice

And it's the seventh week
The days are short, the nights dragging
A corner has your privacy
My idols, they sing their songs to thousands
Yet I′m scared I'll sing to no one
I'll be crashing on a couch at age thirty-three
′Cause a taste of feeling not some security

Will they remember me?
Crickets are the crowd I see
A pit stop in the memories
Playing a song they′ll never notice

I've lost all sanity
Guess I owe this all to you
And I′m without a choice to choose
I'm out with one and all I can lose
I′m stained in your perfume
It's more than I can shower off
You′re the license that can cure my cough
I fear I am the clumsiest kiss
The good in recent years

Will they remember me?
Crickets are the crowd I see
A pit stop in the memories
