Gladiolus Songtext
von Blue Tang

He said it with his mouth shut
"You′ll never be more than you are"
She said it with her mouth shut
"Don't you think it′s time you grow up?"

Judgingly staring with their eyes closed
Are they righteously staring, are my eyes closed?
Time will keep passing, one day will I
Time will keep passing, one day will they

"He'll fall to the ground
He will step on a branch way too thin
He will never see the sun
He is wasting time on a whim"

Judgingly staring with their eyes closed
Are they righteously staring, are my eyes closed?
Time will keep passing, one day will I
Oh, time will keep passing, one day will they

You can't reach every summit
I used to think I didn′t have to pick
But you can′t find every flower
I'm not strong enough, at least
I′ve spent my time searching
For a specific one
Everything else fading
Seeing through only one eye
I'll probably never find it
But maybe that′s the point
Cause this view is beautiful
I can never stop
