I'm slow as a sloth
I long for mountain tops
Understory one floor down
Iguanas can be found

Reveal me
My serendipity
Can I pretend, for all eternity?
Maternity, within your canopy
My sanity
Is my insanity

Harpy eagle soar
Leaves on the forest floor
An anteater′s snout
Sniffing insects out

Armadillos make this home
Scurry back and forth alone
Emergent layer bridge too far
Beware the jaguar
