Oh no, it′s a day of endless pottering,
It's a day when I forgot to ring anyone,
Didn′t even try to leave the house you know

I'm workshy but I could have had a dozen jobs you know,
Should've prob′ly settled time ago,
But I′m addicted to my here and now,
Somehow, I find I'm always just a little way behind,

Home now, wish I was a bit more organised,
And now bank accounts and gas bills are lining up,
They wanna cut me down to size,

I tried hard, but all the years are ganging up on me,
And I feel so cold like my dirty old soul is floating out to sea,
Don′t pick me up and smother me in flattery,
I'm about as lonely as I′ll ever be,
And drunk or sober, I rearely get one over,
Cause I wasted all my money on my batteries,


Tell me why I'm getting all this bad luck,
I′m wriggling on the end of your fish hook,
As if I only knew what was wrong with you then maybe there's a chance that we could make up,
